North Offaly Community Development Network CLG (NOCDN) is a network of voluntary and community organisations based in the Edenderry Electoral Area of County Offaly. There are fifteen community areas of North Offaly namely: Daingean, Croghan, Rhode, Kilclonfert, Edenderry, Ballycommon, Ballinagar, Killeigh, Geashill, Walsh Island, Clonbullogue, Bracknagh, Portarlington, Cappincur, Cloneyhurke.

This project is supported by the Department of Social Protection and Pobal through the Community Services Programme. We are a non-profit organisation with charitable status.

The role of NOCDN is to facilitate sharing of information and resources, to support the development of facilities and services by locally based voluntary organisations in their own area and to develop additional services in the North Offaly area to meet the identified needs of the wider community.

In addition to our work with community organisations, because of the rural nature of the area and the challenge of attaining viability levels with some small scale services, we also provide a range of services directly to older and vulnerable people throughout the area, with the support of Pobal under the Community Services Programme.
