North Offaly Community Development Network CLG is a registered company limited by guarantee with charity status.  As a Non-Profit community organisation we provide a range of social services and supports for people, throughout the North Offaly Area.

Our aim is to support the local communities of North Offaly to identify priorities for their area and assist with the engagement of the relevant agencies, while at all times seeking to ensure that the actions identified are led by the local communities themselves.

In addition, with the support of Pobal under the Community Services Programme, where needs are identified, we provide a range of services directly to older and vulnerable people throughout the area, with the support of the local groups. These services are provided for the purpose of ensure that all members of the wider community, have the support necessary to remain living independently in their own homes, for as long as possible.  The services we provide directly to individuals across the North Offaly area include; Meals on Wheels, Home Visits, Home & Garden Maintenance, Personal Monitored Alarms and other individual supports on request.

In recognition of the range and quality of our services, we were Overall National Winners, in the Community Category, in The National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2018. This award was accepted and appreciated as recognition of the high standard of work carried out by the Voluntary Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers who make up the NOCDN team.  The support and testimony of so many of our clients, whose contribution played a significant role in the winning of this national award, is very much appreciated.
