The data  we collect from you is stored in Ireland which is within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). We do not   transfer or process any data outside of the EEA.

We collect information about you during the initial request/use for any of our Services. 1. Name, contact information and message if you contact us with a query.

You may give us your information by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email, on social media or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you:

– Enquire about any service we provide;

– Request a Personal Alarm;

– Sign up to our Home Visiting Service;

– Request our Meals on Wheels Service;

– Seek the use of the Home and Garden Maintenance Service;

– Contact our Administration Staff;

– Become an employed member of Staff ;

– Are referred to our Services by a 3rd party;

As you interact with the Web Site we may automatically collect Technical Information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this information by using cookies, server logs and other similar technologies. 

We may also receive information about you from various third parties such as: Public Health Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Doctor and Hospital Administration Staff.

How do we use this information?

New Clients for all Services, Referral Forms, Processing Personal Alarm Applications and Payroll

We use personal information such as your name, postal address, eircode, date of birth, living arrangements, e-mail address, phone number and next of kin name:

– To set you up on  our Payroll

– To deliver the Meals on Wheels

– To provide customer care and technical support

– To process the Personal Alarm Applications

– For security and to verify your identity

– To have next of kin details for you  as a safety measure

– To provide you with our Home and Garden Maintenance Service

– To send you messages by email, text or letter to notify you of any changes in Services e.g. Holidays for Meals on Wheels

– To provide you with dates and times where any of our  requested services may be carried out

– To comply with the terms of our Grant Aid Agreement

Personalisation

We use personal information to deliver and suggest tailored content to personalise your experience with our Services. This is processing which is necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests in delivering or presenting relevant content to our clients.

Surveys and Polls

If you choose to participate in a survey or poll, any personal information you provide may be used for marketing or market research purposes in accordance with our legitimate interests.

Marketing and Events

Subject to any preferences you have expressed (where applicable), we use personal information to deliver service suggestions and event communications to you across various platforms, such as email, telephone, text messaging, direct mail or otherwise.

We may also use personal information to enforce our terms and conditions.

– Companies / Persons whose services we use to provide our service such as Caters for Meals on Wheels etc.

– Companies/ Persons that help us fulfil your orders such as Personal Alarm providers, Meal delivery drivers etc.

– We may also share your personal information with: law enforcement agencies, other governmental agencies or third parties if we are required by law to do so

Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you, as a data subject have a number of rights which are detailed below. Some of these only apply in specific circumstances and are qualified in several respects by exemptions in data protection legislation. We will advise you in our response to your request if we are relying on any such exemptions.

Right to access:

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you at any time. You can contact North Offaly Community Development Network CLG and we will provide you with your personal data via e-mail/ standard post. You should include adequate information to identify yourself and such other relevant information that will reasonably assist us in fulfilling your request.

Right to rectification:

You can request us to rectify and correct any personal data that we are processing about you which is incorrect.

Right to portability:

Whenever North Offaly Community Development Network CLG processes your personal data, by automated  means based on your consent or which was necessary for us to provide you with our products and services, you have the right to get a copy of your data transferred to you. This only includes the personal data you have submitted to us. You may have the right to have your personal data transferred by us directly to another organisation, if this is technically feasible.

Right to erasure:

You have the right to erase any personal data processed by North Offaly Community Development Network CLG at any time except for the following situations:

– you have an ongoing matter with any Service

– if you are suspected or have misused our services within the last four years

– if you have been a beneficiary of any of our services, we will keep your personal data for book-keeping purposes

Your right to object to processing based on legitimate interest: 

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data that is based on North Offaly Community Development Network CLG legitimate interest. Where we suspend our processing of your personal data we will still be permitted to store your personal data, but any other processing of this information will require your consent, subject to certain exemptions. When you do so you will no longer be consider an active client of NOCDN.

Where we have relied upon your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent.

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be made public, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail/letter.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as we reasonably require it for legal or business purposes. For the unregulated jurisdictions in which operate, and subject to us not having a legal or regulatory requirement or a risk management reason for retaining your information for a longer period, your information will not be kept for longer than 7 years post an active client of NOCDN. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that the privacy of information is maintained for the period of retention.
